Public bug reported: That's pretty much it, I was watching the clock on my desktop's panel while configuring a few servers to use ntpdate, and I noticed the clock seems to freeze for about 2 seconds every 5 to 10 seconds. It's probably nothing, but it's still an abnormal behavior.
I didn't change anything concerning time management on my desktop since the install, I manually ran an ntpdate a few minutes before noticing this. == lsb_release -rd == Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch) Release: 8.04 == apt-cache policy gnome-applets == gnome-applets: Installed: 2.22.0-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.22.0-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.22.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://gulus.usherbrooke.ca hardy/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Clock freezes for 2 seconds every 5 seconds https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211396 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
