I believe this is an instability in fgrlx on my very new motherboard. Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard with ATI 780G HD3200 chipset onboard video. Should make a very nice mythtv box once the new open source radeon or radeonhd drivers get up to speed.
Mythfrontend has a real talent for hitting the touchy parts of fglrx. aptitude has also crashed twice with stack traces pointing at fglrx. And there have been other crashes with various software. I haven't bothered looking at all the stack traces but I suspect fglrx. I look forward to the day when video driver binary blobs are only in history books. -- mythfrontend.real crashed with SIGSEGV in memset() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208859 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
