I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop computer. The video card in it is a
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT. When I try to start Ubuntu 8.04 Beta from a cd
I get the initital screen to select language and then the screen to
select starting 8.04 Beta frm the cd. After this my screen goes black
and stays black while the cd drive still works away loading up the OS.
