Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firestarter

Clicking the launcher for the Firestarter GUI in Hardy does nothing. The icon
simply twirls then disappears. For a few moments afterwards, Gnome acts
unresponsive. The GUI never starts.

I was able to get around this by typing at the command line:

gksudo /usr/sbin/firestarter

rather than using gksu.

Tested on an IBM Thinkpad X61 with Hardy Beta 1 installed.
Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

firestarter:
  Installed: 1.0.3-6ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1.0.3-6ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1.0.3-6ubuntu2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

PS: Firestarter should be installed by default in Hardy. I might even
argue that it should be turned on by default.

** Affects: firestarter (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
