I think moko doesn't draw widgets correctly. The GDK documentation + example code for composited widgets indicates that a colormap needs to be applied to the parent widget, and there needs to be a callback to draw the transparent background on the parent widget: http://developer.gimp.org/api/2.0/gdk/gdk-Windows.html#composited-window-example
I've attached a patch to moko that fixes the 'white screen' problem in Moblin Media. I've only tested it with moblin-media and the first test case in bug 202046, but it worked for me in both places. ** Attachment added: "moko-fix-transparency.patch" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13075103/moko-fix-transparency.patch -- [hardy+ppa]: In widgets, cannot launch images if moko enabling https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205852 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
