I'm experiencing this bug again, both on Ubuntu 7.10, and on Hardy
Heron. I attach a little video snapshot which shows what happens in the
boot when the usb-stick is attached.

The results posted here are for Hardy Heron.

My original usb-stick got destroyed, so I don't know if the bug applies
to that one still. This is with a Sandisk Cruzer Micro 512mb.

uname, dmesg, and lspci are on a subsequent boot with the usb-stick
connected.

uname -a:
Linux loa-desktop 2.6.24-12-generic #1 SMP Wed Mar 12 23:01:54 UTC 2008 i686 
GNU/Linux
