Hi emerging, Thanks for all the photos and info. I'm glad to hear you were at least able to install using the alternate cd. I assume you are seeing no issues booting after the installation? Care to attach your dmesg output?
Also, care to try running the latest Hardy Beta LiveCD with the "all_generic_ide" boot option. Just curious if that may help.
