The bug here is meant to be the fact that there's no longer a way to easily specify a custom application to be launched upon DVD, audio CD and music player insertion. A separate bug should be filed about that in the upstream bug tracker if the reporter finds it necessary.
The bug as it is defined now is about some gconf keys exposed by gnome- volume-manager not doing what they're supposed to do. This should probably be forwarded upstream (Marc, please provide an exact list of keys that aren't working), since it looks like they need to be deprecated. -- Hardy: gconf-editor changed settings ignored by system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203877 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
