Stefan Borggraefe: Saying it works under a yet-to-be-released version of Ubuntu is a bad way to approach bugs. We should not be encouraging users to sit it out, or even install an unsupported beta version of the OS. All your comment does is say that this issue *may* be fixed when the upgrade to 8.04 becomes available. But really, without testing and digging more the issue could be something related to the users configuration. Of course if it's something wrong with the package it needs to be fixed.
I fired up my fresh install of 7.10 in a vmware image and performed the steps the user mentioned and confirmed the issue exists and that it's probably not just related to his config. Then it on a box running 8.04. The issue went away. -- Manage Profiles - Racoon/FreeSwan settings not saved https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
