Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mplayer
Mplayer starts playing the DVD and crashes immediately after the EuroVideo advertisement. The libdvdnav output is very similar to that mentioned in #182385 but the program does not seem to pick up the library I patched to fix vlc (which also used to crash, but was fixed with the patch mentioned there and already included in the libdvdread shipped with 8.04). Does mplayer uses a static version of libdvdnav? If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug. ** Affects: mplayer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- mplayer crashes for german Hogfather DVD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209392 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
