I tried the trouble shooting page on 3-29 after failing all the steps I wound up at Viaarena http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=45&CatID=3140&SubCatID=154 I have a bad taste in my mouth from their support of video drivers. so i haven't downloaded their driver yet as i was hoping for a fix from the ubuntu community. an easy switch back to 7.01 sound configuration if pulseaudio dont work would be nice. could update manager not install pulseaudio for some hardware? I could not load up ubuntu.wiki today for another go at it. but i will give it another try soon and get you more info (first time wiki.ubuntu would not load) I love gnu/linux & ubuntu and would like this to work. I think it would be the same problem with the pc2500 witch were sold with Gos linux at wallmart my friend bought one and I would like to see consumers get more value from the $199 dollar PC. I hear many people have switched to ubuntu from Gos. thank you for the work you are doing for launchpad. ubuntu.gnu/linux. you guys are awsome.
