I can confirm this issue. Install goes well without any warnings or
errors.
Starting the application from the menu does nothing. When starting it from the
shell it fails with the following error:
Gdk-ERROR **: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)
serial 104 error_code 9 request_code 146 minor_code 5
Gdk-ERROR **: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)
serial 105 error_code 9 request_code 55 minor_code 0
This is on a standard 7.10 install, (2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12
07:42:25 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux)
