I updated to Hardy Beta (and beyond) and the iwl3945 driver now works. But the light still doesn't come on. When I turned the wireless off, the "ksysirqd" daemon went nuts.and started eating up my processor. I decided to restart the machine and when I did, a message scrolled onto the screen that said the iwl3945 driver had an error in the driver's microcode.
