Public bug reported: Please update transmissioncli's manpage with regards to -o. This option is no longer required to specify an output directory. Also removed brackets surrounding level in [-v level] as per manpage conventions. Attached is a diff for cli/transmission.1. If there's some ubuntu- specific thing I need to do with the patch, please let me know.
>From the manpage: transmissioncli [-v [level]] [-p port] [-d download-rate] [-u upload-rate] [-f script] [-o output-dir] [-n] torrent-file -o, --output-dir directory Uses the specified directory as destination for downloaded data. Actual usage: Usage: transmissioncli [-car[-m]] [-dfinpsuv] [-h] file.torrent [output- dir] ** Affects: transmission (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- transmissioncli: manpage still mentions -o https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207844 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
