I have not had this issue until now. After upgrading to 2.6.24-12 in Hardy. Hardwares drivers fail to load after a long delay in the boot process, and ultimately several devices do not work...audio and wireless most notably.
I also use Hardy on the 2.6.22-14 kernel, and while there is a long delay in the boot process, all devices work.
