Can you reproduce this in Hardy, sun-java6 6-05-0ubuntu1 (build
1.6.0_05-b13) ?
Eclipse on x64 is known to crash due 'Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:
PermGen space' errors, but this is probably something different.
