I've run a test with the Ubuntu 6.06.1 Desktop amd64 livecd. The following keys seem to work now:
Fn + F7 - Audio Volume Down : keycode 174 (xev) Fn + F8 - Audio Volume Up : keycode 176 (xev) Fn + F9 - Audio Mute/Unmute : keycode 160 (xev) "IE Key" - Start Webbrowser : keycode 178 (xev) "Mail Key" - Start Email client : keycode 236 (xev) all other keys still fail with the same log messages as written in the original bug report. I'll follow up with some more testing with edgy and kubuntu...
