Greg -- it appears that all is now well. The update successfully completed. If anything, my one nit is that the time estimated to complete it was very wrong. The time started out at 1 day 12 hours (or so) and actually completed in about 2 or 3.
However, the main point is that the previously reported issue is now resolved.
