Same problem here on desktop computer with Nvidia 7600GS and Samsung 970p. Screensaver starts as it should, but the setting in power management preferences does not work "Put display to sleep when inactive for:" !!! It does not work with property drivers installed or without them (desktop effects - compiz ON or OFF). In Gutsy works as it should.
