I just noticed something interesting. I use VirtualBox (1.5.6) for my unavoidable WinXP activities, and suddenly noticed that I couldn't play any Flash videos in Firefox. Just like before, it was playing a few seconds and then stopping (with no sound whatsoever). After checking the Audio settings in VirtualBox I saw it was set to ALSA; setting it to PulseAudio solved it immediately.
No idea if it can cause crashes, but interesting nonetheless. -- YouTube: firefox crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198945 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
