Public bug reported: On my ThinkPad T60 with an ATI X1400 after I close and open my laptop lip, the screen is completely corrupted. All is seen is blinking multi- color blocks. Some blocks move when I move the mouse.
The screen can be restored if I switch to a Virtual Terminal and back (Ctrl+Alt+F1, Ctrl+Alt+F7). In my Power Management Preferences, "When laptop lid is closed" is set to "Do nothing". ** Affects: xserver-xorg-driver-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] Closing Laptop lid corrupts screen and beeps https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
