I'm on Hardy A6 and I was unable to get my Brother HL-2040 to print test pages. I'm using: brother-lpr-drivers-common 1.0.0-2-0ubuntu1 brother-lpr-drivers-laser 2.0.1-2-0ubuntu3 brother-r-lpr-drivers-laser 2.0.1-2-0ubuntu1
I performed the setup in the cups admin page using the packaged PPD file.
