No, it doesn't work yet, and Hardy kernel was doing the same. Unfortunately I don't have Ubuntu installed anymore because y moved to Debian lenny, with kernel 2.6.22-3-k7 and the problem exists in Debian too... I think it's a problem of the kernel, but I have tried recompiling it with different options without success.
