The new default pulseaudio in Hardy does not work with many non-Gnome programs, not just Skype. I am worried that everyone (Ubuntu, Alsa, Pulse, Wine) is not on the same page. Will try cross-posting bug information. I am concerned for myself because I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking in Wine as an input mechanism, and that program works poorly for me now.
