After upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy alpha 6, I have the same problem. My
computer works fine. I leave it on and the next day I find it frozen
(The last 3-4 days, when I did the upgrade to Hardy). Not even
Alt+SysRq+o does anything, it seems the kernel freezes. I cannot find
any message that relates to the problem. I have a 32-bit kernel on a
32-bit machine. Today I removed powernowd and I 'll wait to see what
happens.
