I get a bit further than before. I'm using Kubuntu 7.10. KDE4 is up to date.
I have two NVidia cards, each powering one monitor: product: NV34 [GeForce FX 5500] product: NV43 [GeForce 6600] Both are using the nvidia driver from the ubuntu repositories.
