Actually even though it doesn't look like it is running it is at least on Ubuntu hardy. It only runs one instance of openoffice but tells it to open the port, etc.
I was able to tell this by running: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsof -n | grep 8100 soffice.b 24548 ccheney 52u IPv4 2051019 TCP 127.0.0.1:8100 (LISTEN) So I am marking this bug as Fix Released. If after upgrading you continue to have this problem of not being able to actually connect to OOo in headless mode, not that it doesn't show up in ps (which is not a bug), then please feel free to reopen the bug. Thanks, Chris Cheney ** Changed in: openoffice Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- [Upstream] [hardy] OOo started with -headless exits with 0 on errors, breaking scriptability https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119180 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
