It has happened again, but so far I haven't been able to reproduce this bug reliably.
I have saved the message (spam) that was received prior to the last redownload of all messages, and the only thing that stands out is that the Date: field in the message is quite far in the future (Thu, 03 Aug 2028 23:08:54 +0000). Everything else looks fine.
