Hi, have you found any solution for the problem, that you can not connect to any network? Here I have exactly the same problem. I use a wireless card from asus with a marvell W8300 chip. The network-manager (0.6.6) finds my wireless network but the connection will not set up. At the moment I use the 2.6.24-12-generic kernel!
