On Hardy 2.6.24-11 with an SMC2835W I still experience this problem: 000:02:00.0 (prism54pci): cannot read eeprom! ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:02:00.0 disabled prism54pci: probe of 0000:02:00.0 failed with error -22
