I also confirm this bug still exists in alpha6 of Hardy Heron. Every few 
minutes (or seconds) Ubiquity does something reading the disk with some CPU 
activity, but it does not seem to produce nothing useful. Just stuck on this.
I think now I'll reboot and hope nothing else has to be done (I do not think 
there is something else ubiquity has to do, as the setup is complete and GRUB, 
hardware config and everything else has been done), but that's a really 
annoying bug
