Public bug reported: Started having problems with alpha-6 March 11th, 12th, and today's March 13th daily-live/current ISO images.
amd64 install on amd64 x 2 system hangs after first screen selection comes up but the language select screen does not pop us. Arrows and keyboard do not do anything. Thinking that amd64 iso was the issue I downloaded the i386 iso image and the same thing happens. Something changed from the March 10th daily build and the March 11th and all following ISO CD images. I'll keep downloading each evening, as it takes me only 15 mins to download and burn an image and keep trying. Thanks for any help and if there is a better forum to file these bug reports, please let me know. kubuntu 8.04 alpha-6 amd64 current daily-live ISO image FYI Chuck Would attach info if I could get the system to boot far enough to run commands. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Hardy 8.04 alpha-6 boot error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201712 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
