bhaagensen, that's odd: seems that the ipw2200 module is looking in the wrong path?! Can you look at it using strace, to see where it looks up the path etc? I'm not very used to strace either, so you may want to look at "man strace", but generally "sudo strace modprobe ipw2200 2>&1 | less -S" should do the trick. Do you remember having installed some new packages, which may have caused this?
