2.6.24-12-generic still does not work for me. I get a blank screen after the progress bar. When I tried the recovery menu, text on the root console disappear. I only get a blinking cursor. I typed gdm (without actually seeing it on the screen), i get "failure to initialilze HAL" when I log on. I'm attaching syslog and lspci. Hardy works fine with 2.6.24-11-generic. any ideas?
