Hello friends! I have a same problem on Compaq n610c with kubuntu gutsy. Screen resolution is always 1400x1050. I've tried to import the 1024x768 ModeLine string from Kubuntu Dapper's config, but X returns to 1400x1050. Also, tried to change the driver from ati to radeon but got the same result. Log and config are attached below.
