Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
PNG rendering is inconsistent on localhost vs. live server. With the attached png for instance, I can see it as it should be on the localhost just fine at 77x77px, but when I upload to a server, the png renders differently, as if scaled by 8px, 4 on each side - resulting in an image of size 85x85px. I've used other browsers (IceWeasel) and confirmed this is not a server problem on my side, but a Firefox specific bug.. I am currently using Hardy Heron and Firefox 3.0b3 cat /etc/lsb-release: DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=hardy DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu hardy (development branch)" What I expected to happen: Render the image at a true 77 x 77px What actually happened: The png image was rendered at 85 x 85px ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Mar 10 23:08:09 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: firefox 3.0~b3+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: firefox-3.0 Uname: Linux 2.6.24-11-generic x86_64 ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- firefox 3.0 png rendering on localhost vs. server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200873 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
