Saïvann, I cannot confirm, but I'll copy a couple of people at the school I was working at when I made this bug report to see if they can confirm:
Steve or Jeremy, Are the Dell 170Ls still not showing the "thermometer bar" splash screen if you boot to a Gutsy or Hardy beta live CD? If I remember correctly, it worked fine on our first (Breezy, 5.10) image, but did not work when we upgraded to Edgy (6.10). The system booted up fine after the normal time so it wasn't too big of a deal, just a cosmetic annoyance, but I went ahead and filed a bug report. Hope you're doing well!
