Since this bug report did not have answers during a long time, I set the status to invalid but please feel free to re-open it by changing the status to "new" if you can still reproduce the bug and provide needed information. Thanks for your contribution to ubuntu.
Also a little workaround for gutsy which probably installed wrong values in /etc/usplash.conf, you can probably fix the problem by 1. Opening your System / Administration / Screens and graphics menu and note your actual screen resolution 2. Typing "gksu gedit /etc/usplash.conf" without the quotes in a terminal to edit /etc/usplash.conf and replace values to be the same as your actual screen resolution. Saving. 3. Typing "sudo update-initramfs -u" in a terminal without the quotes ** Changed in: usplash (Ubuntu) Assignee: Saïvann Carignan (saivann) => (unassigned) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- ubuntu usplash not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
