When I tried to open the file, software sources dialogue opened. I unchecked 'debian' in the 'Third Party Software' tab. Is this what you meant? Is there any way to edit the file and take out the last line. After I did this, the message in the bulb of the status line has changed to 'There are 13 updates available.' Is this normal. Thanks.
