Public bug reported:
When we leave compiz in the apparence setting and we set "no effect" then when
we restart pc metacity dont start
the problem is in gutsy and hardy (8/03/08)
for exactly when i restart the pc the gnome splash screen didn't disappear and
if i open session i notice that gnome-vm is blocked
i should kill it for permit gnome to complete the start.
system:
amd x2 3800
nvidia 6150
ram 1gb corsair
hd 160 sata
