While I'm slowly becoming convinced of the value of this package as
separate from other packages, and perhaps useful for hardy, I wonder why
using a rebranded package in preference to that provided by
http://db.apache.org/derby/ (perhaps with patches of various sorts) is
desireable.  How does the rebranding help Ubuntu?
