Same on a Dell D830. The Fn+F8 key that should activate VGA output is not working.
The log says: [ 280.168152] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0x8b on isa0060/serio0). [ 280.168161] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e00b <keycode>' to make it known. I'm using latest Ubuntu Hardy. This bug is important, as it makes laptops unusable for presentations with projectors. Shouldn't be considered as "low" importance.
