Mirco Müller: I'm testing the Hardy Alpha 6 Live CD now (again, where I'm typing this from :) The version of simple-ccsm in the repos that Synaptic installs is 0.6.99+git20080224-0ubuntu1 (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/simple-ccsm) and compizconfig-settings- manager is *not* a dependency. Fortunately, as before, installing compizconfig-settings-manager makes simple-ccsm work.
Please check to see what happened to the changes you made since they haven't been applied in the repository!
