Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nvidia-settings
For some reason, even though my monitor was detected correctly, the standard screen settings utility will not allow my refresh rate to go above 60hz. I have therefore attempted to use nvidia-settings as I am using the non free Nvidia driver. However, after changing the refresh rate to 85hz and applying, I then cannot use the button to save options to the xorg.conf file - when I click that button, the app hangs and crashes. Currently at work, will add more information when I get home.
