Public bug reported: After loading and unloading a CD the system log is flooded with these messages:
VFS: busy inodes on changed media. A machine that has this issue spontaniously restarted. I used this workaround http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-529096.html 1. Open Terminal 2. sudo eject 3. Let it eject and then push the button on your drive to pull the empty CD tray back in. 4. sudo eject -t 5. exit which will stop the flooding. IMHO this is a major problem, Ubuntu restarting for nothing is Not A Good Thing(tm) ** Affects: devfsd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- VFS: busy inodes on changed media. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198666 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
