*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 60621 *** While I can reduce the resolution usplash runs at, I wasn't the one that selected the resolution (ie usplash did) and hence I feel it should use the proper resolution.
I realise it's impossible to have graphics but I think there's an easier fix.
