@Effenberg: we have been discussing this on the #evolution channel. Upstream has not been able to reproduce it, and would like to know if you would be willing to participate in a debug session (perhaps with upstream and/or myself either piloting the gdb session, or asking you to type commands).
Another possible option is to build a test Evo distribution, with some more debug code, for you to install & try.
