Hi, As you answered no to the question then apt-listchanges needs some way to stop apt from installing the updates.
The way that apt list changes does this is to just exit with a certain error code, and gives the nasty output that you saw above. It would be nice to have a better way to signal this to apt, but as far as I know that is currently not possible.
