I'm adding a screen shot of the problem as I see it on a straight Ubuntu 8.04 Live system (from an Alpha 5 iso image burned to an actual piece of media and booted on actual hardware, not a virtual box) and a screen shot of the "aboout" Evolution after the configuration was complete.
