I can confirm the problem and I solved it by simply adding some
FAIL="false" into /usr/sbin/update-flashplugin.

But the package maintainer should add a fixed package so that all users
can install flash easily.

The backport version couldnt be installed on my platform too

Im using Dapper with all updates
